
LEGACY WEALTH INITIATIVE
We believe financial awareness is a vital life skill—essential for success, yet too often overlooked.
Through this experience, students will build core life competencies such as problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, and the ability to approach life with a neutral mind.

OBJECTIVE
To develop a blueprint for building generational wealth that includes both financial fundamentals and a component focused on work development.
OPEN TO
Twenty (20) high school freshmen - young men and women in the greater Lima area
Twenty (20) high school freshmen - young men and women through the Brick Center Columbus


STRUCTURE
The program will be a four-year initiative with successive courses in sophomore, junior, and senior years. Twenty students – ideally 10 young men and 10 young women – will be organized into five teams of four, each guided by one to two dedicated mentors.
The program will be a 10 week commitment with each team being partnered with 1-2 businesses who will commit to “hire” the team for work projects.
WORK COMPONENT
Each team will operate as a “mini-company,” taking on either one $2,000 project or two $1,000 projects. These teams will contract with local businesses to complete real work assignments, earning payment upon successful project completion.
The $2,000 is divided as such:
